Painting and Film

This was the fourth project of the first module, and another two week project. It involved finding a painting, and then visually telling the story of the painting to music. Once I had settled on the music and painting I spent a fair bit of time deciding how I actually wanted to animate it all and creating a story board to work from.

I chose a japanese wood block print from the series “100 Views of Edo” by Utagawa Hiroshige. Its called Fukagawa Susaki and Jūmantsubo.

The music – is from an anime series called Read Or Die. The track is called  Shupuu no Kyou, Toraerarerumono ha Nashi (and yes, Im absolutely clueless as to what that translates to).
